Today I got to sleep in a bit, because class was canceled. We had a mini essay to write instead, so I got that done early and then hung out around the house with Ana for a bit.
I tried pigs feet for lunch. The flavor was good, but the texture was not. It is about 49% bone, 50% fat, and 1% meat. Well I can say that I have eaten a pig's foot now at least..
In the afternoon I went on a mini hike with a couple of friends from school. We went up this hill to a beautiful view of San Ramón. It was so nice to get high up and see the city that I am living in and its surroundings. So much green! Also, there is this cool plant everywhere that instantly shrinks at the touch. Super fun to play with! Mimosa pudica, according to wiki.

Right when we got back, Francisco hit me up and so I went over to his house to dig for a little. The dirt was still soaking from the day before, so we got right in and started building up an already tall vert wall.
