Costa Rican Independence Day

Today was Dia de la Independencia de Costa Rica! Woke up and walked 50 meters to the corner of our street to watch the parade. It was three hours long, but we had chairs and we were super close to the house so we could get water, ect. Really cool though; it consisted of all the schools around (there are a lott). A lot of drumming and some other music as well, some dancing, and a lot of flags!

Afterwards, I met up in the center with some friends and hung out for a bit and then headed to a group study sesh. We have a test coming up in Entomology, and I am learning another language. Holometabolous, aestivation, univoltine, lepidoptera, exopterygota, the list goes on. It is all cool and interesting though!
