I didn't post yesterday because it was a relatively slow day. Went to class, took a siesta, did some homework, played some pool.
Today after class I went on a walk with a couple friends. It was really nice to get outside and enjoy the Costa Rican views.

Right now it is raining hard, but there are fireworks going off and cars driving by honking. Costa Rica is in the world cup! It is kind of confusing because I do not follow soccer, but there were three very important games tonight and all that matters is that we are in the cup in 2014! The US also, but I mean we as Costa Rica haha. If we had won tonight, it would have been a national holiday and we wouldn't have had class tomorrow, but we tied...in the last minute and a half...but the other game between Panama and Honduras also resulted in a tie, which means that we are in I guess!
We watched the game at a large bar and it was completely packed. The environment was so much fun; soccer is peoples' lives here. This video is when we scored a goal..
