Tico Time

This past weekend I stayed here instead of traveling and lived the Tico life. My days consisted of waking up and heading to HPP where I would stay riding and shooting until about almost dark. Then go home, siesta or relax, eat dinner, then head downtown to hang with Francisco and his friends.  Spoke more Spanish than English; it was really cool, I can actually hold conversations with people now! And yes, I am keeping up with school work too. Anyways, here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.

Francisco, the man behind the magic

Pablo throwing down

Oscar letting go

Gama had a fall. Luckily he was wearing a helmet, but half lids dont protect your face..

Francisco getting so close on the frontflip!

I also finished up filming for my class project. I headed over there one last time to get some more shots and then headed to farmers market to film some more. It will be interesting, I feel like I have quality shots but poor interviews (due to lack of equipment). Hopefully the shots will make up for it. Now it is time to sit down and translate before I can even start to edit.

Below is just a shot I really liked. My first time trying a time lapse..this is the view from one of the womens' houses, so incredible!
